God is moving in the BASIC community. Because of your generosity we were able to send 400 World Vision Caregiver Kits to Zimbabwe. 400 kits equip 100 Caregiver for an entire year! It has been inspiring and heartwarming to see you get behind this project and join in with your enthusiasm and resources. Tabitha Tabor had this to share after receiving so many funds for kits after BASIC one night. "
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. -Mark 16:15 We are called by God to go out, we are called to serve others and we are called to do all of this out of love. Right now, not all of us can go. . But Thursday at BASIC when we as a community pulled together to purchase 52 caregiver kits, we enabled someone else to go. As I stood there with the iPad taking donations I was in shock by the amount of love and generosity we showed as a community. Every single dollar given and every prayer that has been said has given caregivers in Zimbabwe the ability to go. We are changing peoples lives, we are helping others be the hands and feet of God.

For many kids with a neuromuscular disease, June 22-27th, 2014 will be a week of memories, fun and developing life-long skills, this week is known to many of these children as "The Best Week of the Year." The Muscular Dystrophy Association has been building bridges and knocking down barriers for youngsters with neuromuscular disease by providing an unforgettable weeklong summer camp at no cost to their family. Camp is a very magical place where year-round skills are developed and where a child with a disability can just be a kid. Contact Ashleigh Peska email@example.com for more infromation.

Sometimes they are looking for someone to cover date night, others need someone to or a couple of someones to watch all the kids in their small group. If you are interested in having your name added to this list, send you name, email and phone number to Karla Chestnut firstname.lastname@example.org. We will make the list available to families at Orchard Hill Church.
